Ambassadors' Club,IRGDD and The Diplomat Nepal Inauguration

The Inaugural Ceremony marked the formal launch of the Ambassadors’ Club Nepal, the International Relations and Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGDD), and The Diplomat Nepal magazine. The landmark event brought together senior political leaders, former ministers, ambassadors, diplomats, development partners, and policy experts to establish a unified platform dedicated to advancing diplomatic dialogue, policy research, and Nepal’s global engagement.

The Ambassadors’ Club Nepal officially inaugurated its operations alongside the launch of IRGDD and The Diplomat Nepal magazine during a high-level ceremony held in Kathmandu. The event symbolized a significant step toward strengthening Nepal’s diplomatic ecosystem by creating interconnected platforms for dialogue, research, and informed discourse on international affairs.

The ceremony was graced by Former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai as the Chief Guest, who emphasized the importance of diplomacy, dialogue, and strategic engagement in navigating Nepal’s position in an increasingly complex global environment. Senior political leaders and former foreign ministers highlighted the need for institutional platforms that bridge policy, practice, and public understanding of international relations.

Speakers underlined that the Ambassadors’ Club would serve as a convening space for diplomats and foreign policy practitioners, while IRGDD would function as a think tank promoting research-based dialogue on global and regional issues. The Diplomat Nepal magazine was introduced as a dedicated publication aimed at amplifying Nepal’s diplomatic voice and fostering informed public discourse on international relations.

The inaugural event reaffirmed a collective commitment to diplomacy, multilateral cooperation, and intellectual engagement, positioning the three institutions as complementary pillars supporting Nepal’s foreign policy outreach and global visibility. Strengthening Nepal’s diplomatic capacity through dialogue, trust-building, and sustained engagement.
