Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern membership and participation in all activities organized by the Ambassadors Club Nepal. By becoming a member or engaging with the Club, you agree to abide by the policies outlined below.
1. Membership Eligibility & Application
- Membership is open to individuals and institutions aligned with the values and mission of the Ambassador Club.
- Applications must be completed truthfully and submitted via the official form or online system.
- Membership categories include: Honorary, Executive, Institutional, Associate, Resident, and Non-Resident.
- Honorary Members are nominated and appointed by the Club President or Board.
2. Membership Approval & Duration
- All applications are subject to review and approval by the Membership Committee.
- Annual memberships are valid for one calendar year and require renewal.
- Honorary and Lifetime Patrons are exempt from annual renewals unless status is revoked.
- The Club reserves the right to accept or reject applications without providing reasons.
3. Membership Fees & Payment
- Fees vary by membership category and must be paid in full upon approval.
- Membership becomes active only after receipt of applicable fees.
- Fees are non-refundable unless the application is denied by the Club.
- Customized fees may apply for Institutional Members and are reviewed annually.
4. Access & Use of Facilities
- Members may access lounges, cafés, boardrooms, and workspaces in accordance with their membership level.
- Honorary Members have unlimited access; other members may be limited to specific days or visits per month.
- Facility use must be pre-booked when required, and usage policies must be respected.
- Unauthorized use, sharing of privileges, or misuse of spaces will result in disciplinary action.
5. Events, Networking & Representation
- Members are entitled to attend events appropriate to their membership tier.
- Invitations may be limited based on space and type of event (e.g., diplomatic, youth, or cultural).
- Members are encouraged to participate actively and represent the Club with professionalism.
- The Club is not responsible for opinions expressed by members during events unless formally endorsed.
6. Member Responsibilities & Code of Conduct
- Members shall maintain decorum and respect in all Club-related engagements.
- Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated.
- Members are prohibited from misusing their title or influence as a representative of the Club.
- Disciplinary action may include warnings, suspension, or termination of membership.
7. Media, Publications & Intellectual Property
- Members agree to grant the Club permission to use their name, likeness, or contributions in Club media and publications.
- Intellectual content created for Club purposes may be shared on digital and print platforms with appropriate credit.
- Members may request exclusion from public media by written notice prior to any event or feature.
8. Digital ID & Membership Card
- Each member will receive a digital ID or physical card, valid for identification at events and Club facilities.
- Loss or misuse must be reported immediately; replacement may incur a fee.
- Membership cards are non-transferable.
9. Data Privacy & Confidentiality
- Personal data will be collected and used solely for Club-related communications and services.
- Members agree to confidentiality regarding information shared in restricted meetings or strategic sessions.
- The Club will not sell or share personal data with external parties without consent.
10. Termination, Suspension & Reinstatement
- Membership may be suspended or terminated for violation of rules, misconduct, or misuse of benefits.
- Members may appeal decisions to the Board in writing within 30 days.
- Reinstatement is subject to review and approval by the Membership Committee.
11. Amendments & Policy Updates
- These terms are subject to periodic updates.
- Members will be notified of any material changes via email or official announcements.
- Continued use of Club services implies acceptance of the latest terms.
12. Liability & Disclaimer
- The Club is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during participation in Club activities.
- Participation in events is voluntary, and members are expected to assess personal risks accordingly.
Declaration & Consent
By becoming a member, I acknowledge that I have read and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions. I understand that violations may result in disciplinary action including suspension or termination of membership.
