An Evening of Diplomacy and Friendship

An Evening of Diplomacy and Friendship was organized by the Ambassadors’ Club Nepal in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) to strengthen informal diplomatic engagement and policy dialogue. The program brought together senior government officials, former ambassadors, diplomats, and foreign policy experts to exchange views on Nepal’s diplomatic priorities and foster closer coordination between state institutions and the diplomatic community.

The Ambassadors’ Club Nepal, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hosted An Evening of Diplomacy and Friendship as a platform for constructive dialogue and relationship-building among Nepal’s diplomatic stakeholders. The program was designed to promote informal yet meaningful interaction between serving and former diplomats, senior MoFA officials, and members of the foreign policy community.

The evening featured discussions on Nepal’s evolving foreign policy landscape, regional and global diplomatic challenges, and the importance of institutional collaboration in advancing national interests. Participants emphasized the value of regular engagement between diplomatic practitioners and policymakers to enhance coherence, responsiveness, and professionalism in Nepal’s external relations.

Speakers highlighted the role of platforms such as the Ambassadors’ Club in creating space for open conversation beyond formal settings. The event also underscored the importance of friendship diplomacy and personal rapport in strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Overall, the gathering reinforced shared commitment toward strengthening Nepal’s diplomatic capacity through dialogue, trust-building, and sustained engagement.
